Welcome To Artwest Community Gallery
Artwest Community Gallery is a local art gallery with over 140 members showcasing 300 pieces of art in our exhibitions that change every six weeks. Entry is always free and all artwork is available for purchase. We have been operating at various locations in Brisbane since 2015 and our main gallery is located at 34 Coonan Street, Indooroopilly, above Spotlight.

Textured Hummingbird with acrylic workshop with Lyn Fairlie
Date: Saturday 3rd May
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Cost: $60 (Members $50)
All Materials supplied.
Lyn will guide you through the development of a background - painting an acrylic underlay using metallic acrylic paints, then adding the hummingbird image and applying texture to the bird giving it a true 3D look. Finishing the painting with vibrant colours and varnish on the bird to make its colours pop!

Mono Printing with Angela Burdett
This is a fun hands-on workshop, you will be guided step-by-step in the use of a gel plate to create your very own unique monoprints. All material will be provided.
