Honouring 10 Years of Creativity and Community
In 2015, a bold dream took root: to create a true community art gallery for the Western suburbs of Brisbane — a place where artists of all backgrounds could gather, grow, and showcase their talent.
Today, Art West Community Gallery proudly stands as that vision come to life.
With over 140 members and 300 works of art rotating through exhibitions every six weeks, we have become a vibrant home for creativity, inspiration, and connection.
This year, we proudly invite you to join us as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary with a special event:

This award honours the founder of Art West, Colin Williams. Chosen by the Williams family, this award celebrates an artwork that reflects the spirit of creativity, originality, and passion that Colin encouraged in others.

The serenity, colours and beautiful gum trees around Dove Lake captured my imagination when we were trekking in Tassie a couple of years ago.
