Joanne began her artistic journey working in oils before discovering the unique magic of watercolour. With more time now to devote to her creative pursuits, she has expanded her skills through workshops with a variety of artists in both Brisbane and Canada. Inspired by the natural world, Joanne is particularly drawn to plants, flowers and the beauty of rock formations. She also enjoys the challenge of capturing seascapes and dramatic skies, often incorporating vibrant colours into her work. Working across both realistic and expressive styles, she hopes her paintings bring joy and a little extra brightness to those who view them.
