Monica Anthon
My creative journey into jewellery making began in the early 2000’s after doing a jewellery course and as a lover of bling, I thought I could save money by making my own! And I was fussy so it had to be perfect! I just loved collecting and sourcing beautiful semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls until I had enough to fill a small factory! After starting out at the Cleveland markets, including impromptu beading classes from the stall and creating kits for DIY jewellery, my stall was awarded the Best Accessories Award within the first year.
I then opened a beading store and taught many classes, then toured the country doing Craft & Quilt shows for many years. After a 30 year hiatus with career and children as the focus, retirement has led me back to my real passion of creating unique and classic pieces of jewellery and finally having quality time to focus on what I would do all day every day, if I could!! I spent quite a few months putting a website together which is up and running, however many of my sales are from galleries and exhibitions where I can have more personal experiences with my customers.
I’m happy to take custom orders and can be contacted through the gallery, or directly through my website or social pages.
