Perrin Millard
Perrin Millard is a Brisbane based artist with a dual background in classical and visual arts training, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons 1) from the Queensland College of Arts, Griffith University. Millard has a particular interest in finding interdisciplinary ways to explore connections between past and present art practices, to build a contemporary cultural position that navigates perplexing, humanised histories. Using the familiarity of our natural world and the elemental phenomena of skyscapes, Millard creates immersive and interactive works which provide the opportunity for physical, emotional, and spiritual engagement, encouraging an examination of our place in this world. Millard has been a finalist in the South Australian Museum Waterhouse Prize, Mandorla Art Awards, Paddington Art Prize, Brisbane Rotary Prize and a number of RQAS exhibitions.
